Attorney Susan Seacrist has over 30 years of diverse legal experience that she uses to provide exceptional legal representation to her clients today. After growing up in the greater Cleveland area, she remained in Ohio for college and law school. At the beginning of her career, Susan served as an officer in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps from 1993 to 1997, representing sailors and marines in courts martial and administrative and disciplinary hearings. She was awarded the Navy Achievement Award and the Navy Commendation Award for her service. Following the Navy, Susan worked at a large regional insurance defense firm, sitting both first and second chair in significant injury trials.
She understands the court system from the inside and uses this knowledge to benefit her clients today. Susan then worked in private practice with a prominent local law firm. She realized the limitations of the large firm model and needed to pivot to focus on the client. Susan also served four years as a Magistrate for the Lake County, Ohio Juvenile Court, ruling on matters of custody, support and juvenile cases.
